New project creating in AutoCAD Architecture - Tutorial

 New project setup in AutoCAD Architecture

First, open the AutoCAD Architecture new drawing then open a new project from the drawing as shown in three red color arrows, you can open it from anyone.

Select folder first arrow no.1 then create a new project folder and save location as you want. After that double click on your created project, add project from lover left corner of the project browser window, and fill in the information of your new project but uncheck create from template project, lower left corner of the add project window, and hit ok.

Once click on the project, it will be highlighted then hit on close then the navigator will appear.

Select the project in the navigator and click on project edit from the red Arrow, the project property will appear.

Drawing setting yes, yes, yes and template choose from view template then hit ok, levels new window will appear.

Select level editor from the navigator, check auto adjust elevation from the lower left corner of the levels window then fill name, floor elevation, floor-to-floor Height, ID, and description then create a new one from the upper right corner of the levels window and fill again same column as you want levels and other information and repeat up to your number of floors and hit ok.

Right-click on constructs then Select new constructs from the navigator fill name and description in the add construction window and select division as you filled levels in the level editor, should be unchecked and open in the drawing editor then hit ok.

Create new constructs from the navigator and fill all information as previous constructs then hit ok.

Repeat as previous and fill in all information then hit ok.

Right-click on elements to create new elements from the navigator then fill name and description in the add elements window. Open in drawing editor should be unchecked and hit ok.

Repeat the same as previous elements and create elements as you want like furniture, plumbing, electrical, roof, etc.

Create divisions from the navigator as shown arrow and fill in information then hit ok and create new from the upper right corner divisions window you can more like boundary wall, servant room, and car parking as components of your all planning for new building design.

Right-click on constructs in the project navigator and click on open then new drawing will be opened, and the file name will appear upper left corner as you have given your project details and information. You can open all your constructs and elements drawing.

You can see contracts and elements blank drawings where you start drawing. The first ground floor drawing should be started because all elements will be based on the ground floor plan.
Before starting the draw, you should set up the scale, units, limits, layers, and annotations.  We will learn these all in the next chapter very soon. Let me If any doubts.
